What MoxCdBurn is ?

MoxCdBurn is a free open source library that adds cd writing feature to a program. It can be implemented as C++ class or with ActiveX Control version that wraps the C++ class.

MoxCdBurn is designed to work under Microsoft Windows operating systems.

This is the first free tool for cd burning, Windows native developed.

So under NT/2000/XP you won't need anything but the tool and only an Aspi manager for 95/98/ME.

Functionalities of latest release

• Supports ASPI and SPTI interface



• Scan system for all cdrom units



• Retrieve drive data including drive letter



• Get all supported target drive capabilities



• Detect if media is currently loaded in the cdrom unit



• Open tray to eject media



• Lock or unlock cdrom unit



• Get the disc type (cd audio data, cdi, cdxa, etc.)



• Get the disc physical format (cdr, cdrw, cd readonly)



• Get the write and read speed value as a multiplier factor
